I've only done 3 falcon runs so far just to get a decent TT unit then back to CM grind, also wasn't paying much attention to career skills so can't confirm, but I've def gotten the Medium Straightaways with Narita Taishin for winning Hopeful S.
I've been grinding Agnes Tachyon and one of her goal races give Murmur, tempting me to make an Agnes debuffer XD
uh… I did notice Competitive Spirit on Ryan parent runs, but I did not know it wasn't listed anywhere. It is not listed on the training event helper either
You are right, Umas must have pre-determined skill hints when you fulfil conditions.
I've seen focus on bourbon a couple times after winning a race but I hadn't thought too much about it
If anyone ever found a list of the secret skill from winning races, please share.

I did a random run with my smart falcon and I ended up getting S rank for Turf 😅 She's my best uma for legend races as well. 2 star speed, 3 star turf for just her alone. Not the best parents but I love her regardless
