You think this is cute, you should see Rice’s birthday interaction with Urara. She tries to cancel celebrating her birthday with Urara because she’s on another misfortune streak that day (she couldn’t get out of bed for a while and when she did get out, it rained), wanting to spare Urara from that streak…and Urara with her outlook on life only saw those as good things (the bed gave Rice a big birthday hug and the sky sent little water people down to greet Rice on her birthday) and all the more reason to celebrate with her friend.
