Not sure if you noticed it but he’s not officially S Rank yet. During the episode when they did the dual conversation/ dual subtitle thing, they asked him to come back in 3 days where they assess his class and issue his new S Rank hunters license and it becomes official and his debut. They call it a formal reassessment. When he’s talking to Chairmen Go he tells jinwoo the formal reassessment is mostly just a grace period for the hunter’s association to scout him before anyone else or the guilds try. We’ll see his official debut probably in one of the next few episodes.
chairman go is much stronger than choi because chairman go is a rulers vessel i think.

Bro Michelangelo, you really need to read the manga there’s so much more details behind that whole conversation My Guy this anime is so sexy. The only reason why I need to watch this anime and live action is just so I can see the action unfold instead of reading it.
There’s three people that you didn’t count into your S count Dheen‘s dad chairman go and donsug but to answer your question about who is stronger versus the ultimate weapon versus Ginwoo Ginwoo has an assassin build so major hunters don’t have as much power in our against s rank tanks and assassin. I’m not gonna tell you to spoiler, but Jin, Je his dad Sherman go are literally the same thing they’re not normal S ranks. I really do want you to read the manga because it gives you a lot more details but it’s so much more. I can’t wait to see your reactions when you find a lot of these things out.
Michael Angelo They don't explain the marks on his mother's neck in the anime, but apparently when he was a kid he was helping to wash his mother's hair but accidently used water that was to hot and it burned her, he still feels guilty about it, but she never blamed him, at the time the only thing she was worried about was whether he got burned or not and she was relieved when he wasn't hurt. Also Chairman Go is stronger than Choi, but since Go is a retired hunter he is not considered the ultimate hunter in Korea.
If the dungeons don't get beaten in a week a dungeon break happens (monsters escaping), and the five guilds are only interested in C rank or higher dungeons because their more profitable. So the association is stuck cleaning up the low profit D and E rank dungeons to avoid dungeon breaks, that's why they have less wealth.

Don't misunderstood that Hwang Dok Suk is weak. i plan to watch as much of the anime as they make but i made the mistake of checking things further down the line, wanted to understand something that i didnt from just the anime and now i find im not as impressed as i had been initially and if they stop animating after this season[unlikely considering the$ its banking] i wouldnt care

Metus, the 75th floor boss in the demon castle, was also a high end necromancer with his own army. Probably for extremely accelerated pacing, we didn't see the epic battle of two necromancers fighting. Anime-onlies just saw that Metus had a skeletal face and died in disbelief. True, but that confrontation was two chapters the anime left out from the novels.

16:08 Chairman Go is definitely stronger if he was in peak condition. But he has a lot of old injuries that prevent him from using 100% of his power which is why he's behind a desk now.
