Solo Leveling (나 혼자만 레벨업) is a Korean web novel written by Chu-Gong (추공). It was first serialized by Papyrus on November 4, 2016 and ended with 14 volumes and 270 chapters. On April 13, 2018, a webtoon serialization was released on KakaoPage, drawn by artists Gi So-Ryeong (기소령) and Jang Sung-Rak (장성락). It officially concluded on December 29, 2021 with 179 chapters. A spin-off webtoon series based on the web novel’s extra side stories was also launched on January 21, 2023 and is currently still ongoing, having already released three chapters.

The way YaBoyRockLee crew watch this episode was very satisfying. They noticed every little detail in this episode (if you watch the discussion and reviewyou will know). It felt like that they didn't even blink. I also didn't notice this much details LOL

nah. the dad conversation with that bald dude is not like that. in the manhwa, he's literally warning the bald dude to keep away from his family because even death can't become his escape route from HIM a.k.a jinwoo (because jinwoo will just bring him back to live to be his absolute obidient slave soldier for eternity). not from dad. but the translation just like "even death cannot escape you from 'me'" that's bullshlt. that's entirely different meaning man

6:40 competing guilds chasing the same hunter. It would be cheaper to recruit Seong if they were the only guild who wanted him. And they probably had more bargaining power when negotiating pay before he was verified as S rank. Baek is just getting Ls after Ls.
To give you more context on the Hunter Association. Hunters are an unchecked force powerful enough to destabilize entire nations. Aware of this, Go Gun Hee, a wealthy businessman who awakened as a hunter, sold his company and used his fortune to establish the Hunter Association. Its purpose is to regulate hunters and maintain balance.
The Association's authority over hunters is largely attributed to Chairman Go himself, who is considered the strongest S rank in South Korea. However, Go Gun Hee is concerned about the Association's future after his passing and is eager to find another powerful S rank to succeed him and ensure stability.

Good theories,,and they have something in common with what has been presented so far,,but they are too far or as they say,,it's cold.. Everyone has something with his shadow.:)) I guess it's something to be scared of, all his fighters are hidden there. The Hunters Guild already has 2 S rankers, while the White Tigers Guild only has 1, plus Choi has more resources and possibilities to attract Jinwoo, compared to Baek, that's why he doesn't like it when he finds out. Cha Hae-in is upset about being called the dancer because of the way she moves when fighting with a sword..it's like she's dancing. I think if the Hunters Association had access to lvl A gates, Jinwoo would have chosen to be there. Because now he's a battle junke and he wants to continue evolving.

Chairman Go is one of THE best characters of this series. I just last night read further into the manhwa than I ever had, and that old dude is just a steller fella.

Baek got upset that Choi Jong-In caught wind of Jinwoo because he wants to recruit him to the White Tiger Guild. Choi leads the Hunters Guild which is the only guild in Korea that has more than 1 S-Rank hunter, him and Hae-In. Baek knows that if Choi succeeds in recruiting Jinwoo, that the nobody will ever be able to match the Hunters guild. They're already ahead of the pack having the 2 S-Ranks so this would just make them unbeatable so that's why he gets so upset. The manhwa goes into alot more of the inter-guild politics that they're leaving out of the anime.
Guys i highly recommend to u to read manga after finishing the episodes bcoz there are certain panels and information are not showing in anime for eg: chairman asking jinwoo to join him bcoz he is about to retire and searching for next chairman.this is not showing in anime
