Solo Leveling (나 혼자만 레벨업) is a Korean web novel written by Chu-Gong (추공). It was first serialized by Papyrus on November 4, 2016 and ended with 14 volumes and 270 chapters. On April 13, 2018, a webtoon serialization was released on KakaoPage, drawn by artists Gi So-Ryeong (기소령) and Jang Sung-Rak (장성락). It officially concluded on December 29, 2021 with 179 chapters. A spin-off webtoon series based on the web novel’s extra side stories was also launched on January 21, 2023 and is currently still ongoing, having already released three chapters.

Pretty sure Jin Woo summons is the same rank as they were when they still alive. Kim Chul (A rank) –> Iron (A rank) so Igris is definitely still S rank just the same as when he still alive maybe a mid S rank probably since Jin Woo is around high A or low S rank rn.

Many bears carry Trichinella parasites, though they're not aware of this, and the presence of these parasites doesn't necessarily affect their health. Unfortunately, Trichinella can make humans very sick with symptoms such as fever, muscle pain, swelling in the face and extremities, and stomach problems. This is why bear meat isn't usually consumed.

Manhwa Detail (So maybe spoilers?)
In the Manhwa (Chap 53) Jin Woo notices he needs more power as soon as Baruka shows up and purposefully kicks the sword over to Kim Chul, basically baiting the guy into attacking him. Kim Chul then wakes up, sees his sword next to him and decides to attack Jin Wu, so the System reacted by giving Jin Woo a quest to kill Kim Chul. Jin Woo baited Kim Chul and exploited The System to gain more power to protect the others. I guess the Anime cut that detail to leave it more ambiguous or to make it seem less evil, but imho the fact that Jin Woo learned to game the system and that he was so cold and level headed is a necessary character detail.

Bear meat flavor depends on what the bear eats, and what season you hunt them. For example, black bears gorging on blueberries during peak blueberry season taste real good. The issue with them is the risk for parasites that you can get if it isn't cooked well

Bears can manage because the tapeworms die during hibernation, but they may even crawl out of the freashly cut meat

Bear meat is dangerous because large carnivores carry parasites specifically life threatening to humans. Trichinosis/Trichinella is a roundworm commonly found in bear meat that can only be disposed of through proper cooking. Overcook the meat and it is ruined, but undercook the meat and you will get extremely sick to the point of possible death.

Bear meat has TONS of parasitic worms in it, so while you can eat it, if it isn't cooked into oblivion, you have a high chance of getting worms.

Small but very important detail they left out. In the source material, comic and novel, Sung does something quite dark.
He woke up Kim by subtly sliding an object to bump him. Knowing Kim would attack him right away. This served multiple purposes, a distraction for one. But the dastardly part is that he knew it would trigger a response from the system to kill Kim.
Yeah. So not only did he get XP for that, but he was the one who took out Kim. Which leveled him up I believe.
Shadow soldier kills don't give him XP, he has to do it himself. Igris blocked Barca for him instead.

In the manhwa, after Yunhoo confronts Sung and lets him go, Yunhoo tells Recruiter Ahn that he (Yunhoo) should be prepared to lose an arm in a battle to the death against Sung at the current state of strength. This pretty much confirmed to me at this point in the story that Sung is an S Rank in strength as of this point of the story.
