I joined umamusume because of Gentildonna. She was the character that turned my life around. I used to be quiet but I became more open and expressive after I saw her. Glory to Cygames for changing my life.
Yeah. It definitely gave me a good push when I was down in life. I remember being 165kg last year November and depressed wishing I didn't exist. Then I decided to get myself together and managed to lose 20 kg in just a month. After that I once again hit a wall and stayed between 140-145 kg until around mid July this year, but now I am under 135kg. I admit I still struggle with my emotions and I'm still definitely depressed but it's better than last year November. I also managed to gain some self confidence and do some things I would normally would be too scared to do. And I do think Umamusue played a part in it.
At first, i thought it was something something "Anime slop", while it is… I think it's wrapped around honesty and history, and that which made it much more intrigued.
Not only is that it's a part of our lives in the past until today, but we're actively push how much story we can watch today through this game.
It was never the game's flaw, it's because its passion to keep it going. Cygames was right about Global release. They did the right move, gambled like Nakayama Festa, and actually fucking win big.
I am impressed by their work and effort, despite it's just horses. But it's one of the unpredictable animals just to be in a sport. We may all know that a youtuber named Yahiamice popularized the horse meme, but until today.. I think we can all see why.
I found umamusume in a turning point of my life. It helped me get out of a really bad addiction, motivated me to look forward to tomorrow so i dont miss daily missions. So much so that ive logged in for over 400 consecutive days and i plan on keeping on.
in regards to playing Gachas yeah Uma definitely got my attention and ive been hooked. but in regards to changing my life, the DOOM franchise basically saved me from going over the edge and being swallowed whole by my anger and depression. its really cool tho that video games can bring light to those in the darkness.
I joined the Umamusume community late last year and I can say it's definitely helped me get through a rough spot in my life. I've met some wonderful people through fan gatherings and even started running at my local track. Hell, it's impacted me so much that I did multiple research papers regarding the horses and their treatment. Though there may be questionable parts of the community, we're still capable of doing great things together. In the words of Girls' Legend U, "Don't stop, no don't stop 'til finish!"
Umamusume inspires me to keep going, to care for my friends, and to keep on improving and get better. Umamusume genuinely is one of the greatest things that happened to me❤
